From a saved video to something you actually did.
Three steps. You do the first one and the last one. Here is exactly what happens in between, and how long each part takes.
Step 1 · a few seconds
Share the video to Yevo
You find a video worth doing something about. Instead of tapping the bookmark and forgetting it, tap Share and pick Yevo. A small sheet opens on top of Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, so you never leave the app you were in.
The sheet has three optional things on it. Category shows every category at once, with Yevo's guess already picked from the link; leave it on General and Yevo picks one after it reads the video. Priority puts this save at the top of Today. Note asks what you want out of it, and Yevo uses your answer when it writes the plan: “I run a bakery” gets you different steps than no note at all.

Step 2 · usually under a minute
Yevo reads it and writes the plan
Here is what happens on our side, in plain words.
- Yevo fetches the public post: its caption, title, creator and thumbnail. Private posts cannot be read.
- It turns what is said in the video into text. For Instagram and YouTube the audio is transcribed with Google's Gemini; for TikTok it uses the creator's own subtitles when there are any, and transcribes the audio when there are not.
- Claude, Anthropic's model, reads the transcript, the caption and your notes and writes three things: a short title, a summary of two to four plain sentences, and an action plan of one to eight steps. Each step starts with a verb, says why it matters, lists how to do it, says what done looks like and how many minutes it takes.
- If you left the category on General, it files the save under the category that fits.
Then your phone gets a notification: Your plan is ready. If the video has fewer than about twenty spoken words, there is nothing to build a plan from and the save says so instead of making something up. What gets stored, and who processes it, is spelled out in the privacy policy.
Step 3 · as long as the steps say
Do it, or hear about it
A new plan is a proposal. Read it, and when you are ready, tap Start this. Yevo asks when to remind you, today at 6 PM unless you pick another time, and by default repeats the reminder daily until the plan is done. Tap a step and choose Do this to put that one step on your calendar at a set time. Details are on the reminders and nudges page.
Every morning Today shows what is due and the one thing to do next. Tick a step and Yevo reacts; add a photo of what you did and he sees it. Leave a step overdue for more than a day and he brings it up, once a day at most. Your streak counts the days you hit your daily goal of finished steps. Saving a video counts for nothing.

Questions
How long does it take to get a plan?
Usually under a minute from the moment you tap Save it. Short videos are often ready in 10 to 30 seconds. Yevo sends a notification that says Your plan is ready, so you do not have to wait in the app.
What if the video has no talking?
Yevo builds the plan from what is said in the video, so it needs a few sentences of speech. Music-only clips, photo carousels and silent videos come back with Couldn't extract content from this video instead of a plan.
Does Yevo download the video?
It reads the public post and transcribes the audio to write your plan. It stores the caption, the transcript, the title and the thumbnail with your save. It does not keep the video file.
Do I need to start the plan straight away?
No. A new plan is a proposal. It waits in your Library until you tap Start this, and only started plans show up on Today or count toward your streak.
